What is Community Acupuncture
Community acupuncture is practiced in a group, rather than a one-on-one setting. You will meet with one of our certified practitioners, discuss your concerns and situation, then receive the treatment in a comfortable chair, in an open room, listening to relaxing music along with others.
Don’t worry, you won’t be baring much skin. Wear comfortable clothing as the treatments are primarily on the legs, arms, hands, feet, ears or front of the body. Many people find the experience relaxing as they enjoy the calm environment and the fellowship of others receiving treatment. As with any intentional group endeavor, the shared state makes individual treatments more powerful.
This is a wonderful, cost effective way to explore acupuncture. Friends and family can visit as a group and get treated together at the clinic, experiencing the benefits of acupuncture as it is still practiced in many parts of the world and increasingly across the United States.
Working with the Body = Fewer Side Effects
Acupuncture works with the body to heal itself, while experiencing a substantially reduced risk of side effects as compared to other pharmaceutical or medical treatments.
We can’t wait to see you!
